Site Location

The Indomining mine site is located near Samarinda in Sangasanga, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. It lies in close proximity to a self-owned jetty to which it is connected to by an all-weather overland conveyor, meaning that it is less subject to weather-prone conditions as is the case for many other coal producers in Kalimantan.

From the jetty, the coal is barged 30 miles to Muara Jawa (transshipment point) between January to June, and 65 miles to Muara Berau (transshipment point) between July to December.
