Company Overview

PT Indomining (Indomining) ranks among one of Indonesia’s low cost thermal coal producers, thanks to its comprehensive infrastructure and its strategic proximity to port. This highly productive concession is located in Sangasanga, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It produces both sub-bituminous and bituminous thermal coal with low sulfur and ash content, making it very suitable for power plants.

Established in 2007 under a KP license, Indomining operates its 683 hectare open-pit mine concession area under IUP no. 540/1410/IUP-0P/MB-PBAT/VI/2010, in accordance to the new Mining Law. Production commenced in 2007 with the development of greenfield assets. The combination of having fully dedicated and comprehensive infrastructures, close proximity to port, integrated supply chain and strategic synergies with other subsidiaries within the Group, have promoted rapid and cost-efficient growth.

The Company is a 99.99% owned coal producing subsidiary of PT Toba Bumi Energi (“TBE”), which is itself a 99.99% owned subsidiary of  PT Toba Bara Sejahtra Tbk, is one of a low cost producer of thermal coal that is a member of the Toba Sejahtra Group.
